FINAL EVALUATION of my animation
The software i used was inkscape. I used this software as i found it the easiest to use. Also, i found it much easier then pencil as i found the victor layer and bitnap layers difficult to use. Therefore i thought that inkscape would be much easier to use and I had more experience with it because i barely used pencil. After i had created my frames on inkscape i used Gimp to create an animation from it. Then i used google docs to upload the aimation to my blog page.
Describe the process you followed.
First i created the frames on inkscape, starting off with the background. From that i traced the pin by copying the image from google. Then i made the bowling ball. After that i creating my 200 frames, i used gimp to make it into an animation. Once my animation was created i uploaded it onto google docs and then put the hyperlink onto my blog.
What image format were you saving your work in during development of the frames?
i saved my work as SVG format
What image format did you save your frames as?
I saved my frames as PNG format.
What frame rate were you aiming for?
75milliseconds
What is he final size of your animation?
1.71MB
What difficulties did you encounter and how did you overcome them?
I had encountered difficulties such as;
- how to use gimp
- what to save the image as whilst still creating my frames on inkscape.
- How to save frames on inkscape
- how to upload the animation onto my blog.
- how to trace on inkscape
I had overcome all these problems by asking Mr Lennon and getting help from my class mates. Also the videos uploaded on stundent net helped me out.

assignment post 8
FILE TYPE: GIF image
SIZE: 1.71 MB
DIMENSIONS: 400 times 400 pixels
REASON FOR SELECTION: The reason why i chose this animation to be my final animtion was because i thought it looked effective and creative. Also, it signifies that dobson knocks down the other houses and wins in each challenge, by the pins being the different houses and the ball being purple. The strik at the end shows that dobson can knock over all the houses at once. This is why i chose this animation.
FRAME RATE: 75 milliseconds

assignment post 7
A) This animation progresses too slowly, however i want the ending to be slow and the starting to be fast, but this is slow all way through.

B) This animation progresses fast, however the starting is fine but the ending is too fast.

assinment post 6
- inkscape to create the drawing
- gimp to make the drawing into an animation
- google docs to upload the animation onto my blog
This assignment took me ages to complete, and i had to undergo many mistakes for it to be to completed
ASSIGNMENT POST 5
I am now downloading gimp to make it into an animation

ASSIGNMENT POST 4
This is not my real assignment, i made random frames just to check the process of using Gimp then uploading it onto my blogger. I wanted to see if i could make it work.

Assignment post 3
By tonight i will have my frames completed so tomorow i can folow the process of making the animation animate by using Gimp.
Then uploading it onto my blog and completingt the other tasks required for this assignment.
I am also quite happy with how my animation is turning out to be, and i think it will turn out to be effective.
Assignment post 2
the new idea i thought up with was that im going to have the animation as a game of "bowling" there are going to be 6 pins, red (veritas), yellow (caritas), green(coolock), blue (mercedes), orange(clare) , pink(ryan) and the bowling ball is going to be purple ( for my house dobson)
The bowling ball is going to be balled and is going to knock over the 6 other house coloured pins.
Then "STRIKE! GOO DOBSON!" is going to pop up onto the screen
I thought this idea was going to be more effective therefore i'm going to choose this.

Assignment Blog 1
Here are some of the ideas i came up with:
1) A Book which was purple, supporting dobson, that flipped pages and on each page there was a different letter of dobson. i.e On the first page there is a "D" on the second page there's a "O" on the third page there's a "B" on the fourth page there's a "S" on the fifth page there's a "O" on the sixth page there's a "N" and on the final two pages theres a " DOBSON ! "
this was my first idea, i started creating the book on pencil however then i realised that this wasn't going to be as effective to look at so i decided to create something different. This is what i got up to before i stopped craeting more of the book;

2) My second idea was with balloons. I thought about having 6 little boys come into the screen crying and wanting a balloon. Then this man with many balloons gives the boys a balloon each, and then they stand in a line all happy. On each of the balloon there is a different letter of DOBSON. ie. first balloon has "D" second has "O" third has "B" forth has "S" fifth has "O" and sixth has "N" However, i realised this was also not going to be that effective and was going to be hard to create. So i stopped drawing the man and started thinking about a new idea.
3) My third idea i quite liked it was quite effective and i liked it. It is going to have a stage, a flag, some audience and a man.
The man is going to go up the stage towards the flag post and smile towards the audience whilst walking. The audience is going to clap for the man. Next the man is going to pull the flag post string so the flag is made to go up. As the flag goes up it is clear of what it says, the flag is pruple and on it, it says "DOBSON!" when it is in the air it's going to be swaying like a flag sways in wind. Then the man is going to cheer and wallk of the stage. As the flag goes up the crowd are also going to get up and cheer.
This idea i quite liked because it will look effective and i will enjoy creating it.
These were my ideas and now i'm going start making the animation of the stage etc..
